How to Find Us
We recommend using the quieter Lymington to Yarmouth ferry route as the Yarmouth ferry terminal is under 5 minutes drive from the holiday house.
Don’t forget you can use Tesco Clubcard points for Wightlink and 50p of vouchers gets you £1.50 to spend!
By Car
Sat Nav postcode is PO40 9SG
By car: As you leave the ferry, take the second exit on the roundabout (going right) over Harbour Bridge signposted Freshwater and Totland. The road turns sharp left and goes uphill. As you reach the top and the road starts to head downward again, Monks Lane is on your right and has a sign to Linstone Chine Holiday Bungalows. Follow this lane (narrow with passing places – mind the speed humps!) and when you reach the site turn left into the first entrance.
As you arrive at the site the carpark is directly in front of you by the large reception building (look for 2 tall trees). Our property is on the left at the back, 30 seconds flat walk from the car park. There is also parking directly behind our bungalow on a first come, first served basis so it’s best to park in the carpark while checking in and move the car after.
On Bike or By Foot
On foot/bike: Foot passengers can walk to the property in around 40 minutes from the ferry, with a choice of sticking to the roads (follow driving directions) or going via the Fort Victoria Country Park which has paths through a wooded area that bring you straight to our lovely 37-acre site.
Cyclists can get from the ferry to the site in around 15 minutes depending on how quickly you can cycle up hills – there’s a fairly steep one as you leave Yarmouth and head to Freshwater!
For the road route, follow the driving instructions below. For the Fort Victoria route, follow around the sharp left hand bend until you’re about to go up the steep hill and follow the signs for Fort Victoria Country Park (on your right). Head in to Fort Victoria, through to the country park and walk through the woodland area following the path forwards, keeping the shoreline on your right. You’ll arrive at Cliff End (bungalows with pitched roofs) – follow the path forward and you’ll see the Brambles Chine bungalows in the distance.
